Coming up:

October 30th @ 6:00pm - Family Movie: Hocus Pocus (PG)
After 300 years, three sister witches are resurrected in Salem, Massachusetts, on Halloween night, and it's up to two teenagers, a young girl, and an immortal cat to put an end to the witches' reign of terror once and for all.

Snacks will be provided.  Sign up at the Children's Desk starting Monday, October 29th at 9:30am.

November 7th @ 6:00pm - Edible Video Game Art
Get ready for some tasty, geeky fun!  Perhaps a Skittle Mario is your style?  Or an M&M Zelda?  The choice is yours!  All materials provided.

November 15th @ 4:00pm - Teen Book Club: The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness
Todd Hewitt is the only boy in a town of men.  Ever since the settlers were infected with the Noise germ, Todd can hear everything the men think, and they hear everything he thinks.  Todd is just a month away from becoming a man, but in the midst of the cacophony, he knows that the town is hiding something from him--something so awful that Todd is forced to flee with only his dog, whose simple, loyal voice he hears, too.  With hostile men from the town in pursuit, the two stumble upon a strange and eerily silent creature: a girl.  Who is she?  Why wasn't she killed by the germ like all the females on New World?  Propelled by Todd's gritty narration, readers are in for a white-knuckle journey in which a boy on the cusp on manhood must unlearn everything he knows in order to figure out who he truly is.

Snacks will be provided.

November 29th @ 6:00pm - Recycled T-Shirt Program
Don't throw away your old t-shirts just because you don't wear them anymore...instead, repurpose them!  Make the best out of your old clothes by turning them into bags, jewelry, accessories, or even a new piece of clothing altogether!  We'll provide the necessary materials--including t-shirts!--but if you have an old shirt of your own that you'd like to transform, bring it along!
